VIOS Data Erasure Services use proprietary industry tools and techniques to help protect your information – safely, securely, and auditably.
VIOS completes the process by providing a comprehensive report and certified data erasure report for the specific drives erased and the level of erasure selected.
Designed with your business requirements in mind, our Data Erasure Services can be delivered on full arrays and as well as single drives after proactive replacement (i.e. predictive failure swapouts). Full array erasure services are available for all array types, includes EMC, HDS, IBM, NetApp and HP arrays. VIOS experts overwrite physical storage data with a pattern of random data in one or more iterations to render the underlying data unreadable. For flash based media, we will first attempt to execute embedded erasure commands which erase every cell on the drive, and follow that with a multi-pass overwrite.
It is the only solution available today that delivers independent verification of data erasure, documented with a Certified Erasure Report, proving compliance with government and industry regulations and guidelines.
